Dr. Sellend has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in the treatment in 1983. She has worked as a plastic surgeon since 1986. Dr. Sellend has attended in-service training in Moscow, Riga, Miami, Paris, Stockholm, Athens, Venice and Nice. She is also a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Estonian Health Care Board has granted Dr. Sellend activity licence no L02035 for practicing plastic surgery.

Plastic Surgeon Sellend was founded in 2004.
